Man Walking His Cat

One evening a few months ago, Richard and I were walking down 6th Avenue. We passed a woman walking 3 pugs and Richard asked me, "What would you do if that woman was walking cats instead of dogs?"
I probably said something like, "I would think 'that's weird'," and asked him if he'd ever seen someone walking a cat before.
He said, "No."

We continued to walk for a few more minutes. Coming towards us was a man with something on his head. A cat? Did he have a cat on his head? Yes, he did. The cat wore a collar connected to a leash connected to the owner's hand. The cat's front paws perched on the man's hairline. He seemed to be perfectly comfortable up there, as if this was something he was used to.

When I got home that night, I told my brother and Nora what I had seen and Nora didn't believe me.
"Where were you?" " What kind of cat was it?" " I don't believe you!" " Are you serious?" " What did the man look like?" "You're lying."
"I am not lying," I said.
"I will believe you when you draw me a picture of it."
A month passed.
"All I want is for you to draw me a picture of a guy with a cat on his head. It would make me the happiest in the world."
Another month passed.

Here it is! Proof!

I've seen that guy too! He was on 34th between 7th and 8th. It was awesome.
